Today, IEA published their Report “Building the Future Transmission Grid – Strategies to navigate supply chain challenges.” As always, a concise, sharp analysis by this globally leading organisation.
Europacable had the opportunity to contribute to the Report, which – rightly – puts the spotlight again on the need for expanding power grids to ensure secure, affordable and sustainable energy systems.
For our industry to meet future demand, it is precisely as IEA writes: “The visibility and credibility of national and regional transmission planning (…) is vital to underpin investment decisions in new or existing manufacturing capacities.”
