With immediate effect, Raul Gil is handing the leadership of the Europacable Energy Infrastructure Team to Marcello Del Brenna, both with Prysmian Group
Raul Gil has been heading the Europacable Energy Infrastructure Team over the past five years. As he has taken on new responsibilities a CEO of Prysmian Group Brazil, Raul needs to end his involvement in Europacable. Marcello Del Brenna has accepted to serve Europacable once more as Chairman of the Energy Infrastructure Team and as UMP Chair – a role he held previously. Marcello will also join the Europacable Executive Board.
In his farewell message, Mr. Gil highlighted: “I want to thank the members of the Europacable Energy Infrastructure Team for all the work done during the past five years. I strongly believe that the collective effort devoted to the Europacable activities has had – and will have – an excellent payback.”
Mr. Del Brenna welcomes the opportunity to re-join Europacable: “I am delighted to take back a much stronger Energy Team from Raul which has a greater visibility and stronger leverage in Brussels. Europe´s ambitions to decarbonize and truly interconnect its energy markets offer tremendous opportunities to grow and shape our business. I am convinced that an even more active engagement of our industry through Europacable is vital to secure our future in Europe.”
