You can now watch the recording of Europacable presentation: “No CPR compliance no fire safety” made during the 2021 European Fire Safety Week. Europacable presented the findings of the “Cable Impression Burn” conducted by the Dutch “Institute for Safety” IFV on behalf of the organisation and presented its video on the need for CPR compliant cables.
First, Ruud van Liempd, Researcher at IFV, presented the results of the study on varying fire performances of cables with different fire safety classifications. Then, Nicola Scirocco, Chair of the Europacable CPR Compliance Programme, reiterated the need for CPR compliance and stringent market surveillance. He then illustrated the debate with a new campaign video on the risk that may cause non-compliant installations on escape time and living conditions in case of fire.
